Latin America's dining scene is increasingly digital, and the latest data from Sensor Tower provides a glimpse into the performance of the top iOS dining and restaurant applications during the first quarter of 2024.
The McDonald's Offers and Delivery app saw a significant fluctuation in downloads, starting at 91K and peaking at 138K in late February, before settling back to around 91K by the end of March. Weekly active users began at 623K, dipped to 582K mid-quarter, but rebounded to 675K, indicating a strong user base.
Burger King Brasil experienced a steady trend in downloads, with an initial 37K that dipped slightly and then rose to 41K in early March. The app's weekly active users started at 129K, dropped slightly to 119K, and then saw an increase to 147K, before stabilizing around 136K.
Starbucks México downloads began the quarter at 20K, decreased to around 11K in early February, and then climbed back up, reaching 19K by March 11th. The app's active user count started at 173K and saw a gradual increase to 185K in mid-March, ending the quarter at around 169K.
Habib's showed a mixed downloads trend, kicking off at 8.6K, rising to 14K in mid-February, and then slightly decreasing to around 10.6K by the end of March. Weekly active users for Habib's began at 35K, peaked at 42K, and closed the quarter with a slight drop to 39K.
Lastly, the KFC APP (Ecu, Col, Chi, Arg) downloads started at 8.1K, saw a high of around 12K in late February and late March, with minor fluctuations in between. The app's weekly active users commenced at 54K, peaked at 61K, and ended the quarter with a slight decrease to 62K.
